Research data from a single nation/culture should focus on cultural factors and explore the theoretical or practical relevance of their findings from a cross-cultural perspective.</p> <p>All manuscripts submitted for publication to the <strong><em>JICS</em> </strong>are initially reviewed by the Editor for appropriate content and style. If approved by the Editor, manuscripts are then reviewed by anonymous reviewers in a <strong>blind review process</strong>. In this study, the researcher used descriptive qualitative methods by conducting in-depth interviews with 8 informants, and conducting direct observations. The results of this study are that a lot of information from Tiktok is still confusing and many users are not intentionally carried away by the rapid flow of information. To respond to this, it is necessary for Pekanbaru youth to apply media literacy so that they can determine the validity of the information obtained.
