Archiving Policy

Journal of Social Media and Message (JSMM) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published scholarly content.

JSMM participates in the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), a community-governed digital preservation service that ensures permanent archiving of journal content. Through this participation, JSMM allows CLOCKSS to securely store and preserve its publications in a distributed network of participating libraries worldwide.

In the event that the journal content is no longer available from the publisher (a “trigger event”), CLOCKSS is authorized to make the archived content openly accessible, ensuring continued availability to the scholarly community.

A CLOCKSS License is provided and displayed in the About the Journal section under Archiving, confirming JCMO’s agreement with CLOCKSS for the preservation and dissemination of its content via the CLOCKSS Publisher Manifest system.

This archiving policy guarantees that JSMM’s published materials remain accessible, citable, and preserved for future generations of researchers.
